SUMMARY:Quest for the West - Eiteljorg Museum
DESCRIPTION:Eiteljorg Museum\nQUEST FOR THE WEST\n\n\nSeptember – October\, 2019\n\n\nOpening Weekend September 6\, 2019 \nWe look forward to showing at this great event. This year we will be showing our TLC Fine ART Jewelry line int he museum shop through out the weekend. TIm will also be participating in the miniature sale on Friday night. \nMasterpieces on display at Quest for the West® capture moments in time that range from the early days of settlers in the rugged West to contemporary expressions of our lives today. Now in its 14th year\, Quest is considered to be one of the top Western art shows in the country. Opening weekend attendees will be the first to see and bid on paintings and sculptures by more than 50 of the most prominent artists in a “luck of the draw” sale and a miniature art sale. Expect to make memories that you’ll fondly recall for years to come. \n“The creativity of the Western artists who present their works at the Eiteljorg Museum and the passion and enthusiasm of the collectors who seek out their art are key to the success of Quest for the West®\, the only Western art show and sale hosted by a major museum east of the Mississippi\,” Eiteljorg Museum President and CEO John Vanausdall said. “Not only is it one of our institution’s signature fund-raising events each year\, Quest for the West® provides us an opportunity to support these inspired artists and thank loyal collectors who make it possible for the artists to pursue new creative heights.” \nTim received the Cyrus Dalin Award for Best Sculpture in 2018 for “Big Gulp” \n
