I approach sculpture from a purely design perspective. To move the viewer’s eye around the piece on a visual roller coaster!
Designing “Back Flap,” was exciting because I was able to play with repetitive sweeping lines and round volumes. The challenge was to orchestrate these elements, add color and a base to complete the ensemble. “Back Flap,” illustrates grace, elegance and balance.
