I wanted to use the wild mustang as the horsepower and energy powering the storm. The strong downdraft wind-field is in front of the storm and as it moves away, the lightning and rain follow behind. The calm after the storm comes with it’s passing and the setting sun.
RIDER OF THE STORM is a metaphor for the personal storms we all face and work through, hopefully to a new day and a new beginning.
