“River Mates” is a statement piece that portrays the relationship between many living things and how they are connected together in nature.
I choose the heron, turtle and fish to link the different eco systems together and represent air, land and water. In doing so, I am showing the symbiotic, harmonious and balanced relationship they share together in the environment.
The subject’s forward movement in the design of “River Mates,” represents the future and the constant motion of life together.
