“River Motion”
The inspiration for “River Motion” comes from the lake I grew up on in southern British Columbia.
In Kootnay Lake we had the Gerrard variety of rainbow trout, they grow to be some of the largest in the world. Every summer my grandfather and I did our best to catch one of these majestic fish. It is a lifelong memory that I will always cherish of these days spent together.
“River Motion” is one of my more challenging designs as I wanted to create a graceful teardrop shape in one view, as well as a pure spiral in 360 degrees to entice the viewer to circle around to view the sculpture.
